Divide and Lead

Good morning!
There have been numerous questions on our broadcast yesterday; "Divide and Lead". Therefore, we want to make some clarification this morning.

"Divide and Lead" isn't "Divide and Rule". Divide and rule connote autocracy, dictatorship and many other concepts that aren't compatible with good leadership.

Divide and lead principle is a principle in leadership which is applied to penetrate to the least follower. For instance, if you are a leader of hundred followers, don't forget that you are responsible and accountable for all. Leading hundred may be tasking, then you can divide the hundred into ten. Choose ten persons to lead each. Train the ten. Inculcate what you want into them. In this sense, you have divided and you are leading. With this you will have the knowledge of the least follower.

For those that are Christians, that's exactly what Moses did when he was leading the Israelites.

The principle is that that will help a leader not only in being accountable but also in building others.

#A leader that does not build will have no legacy and even if he has, nobody will sustain it.
